The Basque Country is a popular tourist destination, an autonomous community of Spain, located in the northeastern part of the Iberian Peninsula. San Sebastián is a popular and elegant resort, located in a beautiful bay, famous for its waterfront and its beautiful beaches. His fame grew considerably in the nineteenth century, when it was chosen by Queen Isabella II of Spain as a summer residence. San Sebastián is also known for the International Film Festival, one of the most important European film festivals, which takes place every year in the city, usually in September.
