Important industrial center and popular tourist town, Fortaleza is the capital of the state of Ceara, a town overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in the northeast of Brazil.
The development of Fortaleza happened over the years, along the banks of the stream Pajeú, better known as the river of the palms, whose source is in the current bairro Aldeota where cross roads Silva Paulet, José Vilar, Bárbara de Alencar and Dona Alexandrina.
