Places to visit Montego Bay
The Georgian buildings and the museum of slavery, located in the main square, Samel Shoes Square, reminiscent of the city’s colonial past. The plantations in the neighboring area, some of which are still in business, allow a guided tour.
The most famous beach is Doctor’s Cave Beach, which is located north of the town and is reserved for guests of a luxury hotel, but access is guaranteed to all by paying an entrance fee. I’m still in charge all the main beaches of Montego Bay.
The Doctor’s Cave Beach is distinguished from the others by the presence of a cave from which once flowed mineral waters with therapeutic properties. In the summer takes place in Montego Bay Reggae Sumfest, the biggest reggae festival in the world.
