Among these stands Portofino, a corner of Liguria known throughout the world for its beauty, and to reach which we propose a walk starting from Santa Margherita Ligure, which is located in the inner part of the Gulf of Tigullio, on the Ligurian Riviera east, between the promontory of Portofino and the village of San Michele di Pagana, about 2 kilometers from Rapallo.

From Santa Margherita to Portofino there are about 5 kilometers to cover in part the waterfront and partly through a pedestrian path that winds just above the road along the coast.

From Santa Margherita waterfront proceeding meet the marina, the beaches, the beautiful views that distinguish this part of the coast, the luxurious villas accompanied by terraced gardens.

Near the sign on the right indicates the Cervara Abbey, a monastery overlooking the sea, begins a pedestrian walkway that leads to the sea village of Paraggi and its lovely bay, and then back on to the road.

At this point on the side of the town of Paraggi, begins the promenade leading to Portofino, a beautiful path in the forest characterized by Mediterranean whose travel time is about 15-20 minutes.

The path leads in the final stretch leading to the parish church of the enchanting village of Portofino.
